Wednesday Commons Meal
Sharing a common table brings us together. We open our doors to our community to offer food, encouragement, and prayer. When we eat a meal as a family of faith, all barriers fall away. We are one family at one table.
Volunteers work together to prepare food, serve, and fellowship with members of our homeless community who attend. Contact Patti, 262-4400, to get involved.
Sharing food with those in our community is a tangible way we become Jesus’ hands and feet. This ministry is led by Cary and Denise Nederhouser. Volunteers help to distribute food, clothing, and toiletry items to those in need. Our food pantry is open Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30 pm, and Fridays from 11:00 am-12:00pm. Contact Cary, 265-3733, to find out how you can help.
Youth Service Projects
Under the leadership of Pastor John, our youth provide various service to people inside and outside of our community. Contact Pastor John, 717-517-1138, for their current project information.
Christmas morning breakfast
Start off your Christmas morning with an opportunity to serve the homeless community of Kailua. Our annual breakfast is a feast of love and joy. We bring our best: eggs, meats, fruit, desserts, and Tony’s famous fried rice! Everyone eats their fill and is offered a plate to-go, food gift certificates, and personal items. Christmas music and the Christmas story are enjoyed by all.
Breakfast is served at 8:30 a.m, and food prep begins at 6:00 a.m.
Lots of hands come together to make this a wonderful event. If you’d like to serve, contact Tony at 368-8345.
