CHAPTER READ: Revelation 21
SCRIPTURE SELECTED: Revelation 21: 3-4
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
OBSERVATION: God is promising us that someday only He will dwell among us. There will be no more Satan and all the pain that comes with him.
APPLICATION: Try to grieve in a healthy way and then give my heartache to Gd. He is waiting to bless me as I pass my hurts to Him.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, step into my pain. Turn my tears of mourning to tears of joy as I understand that the old order will pass away. Help me to focus on the pain of others as I try to explain the freedom that comes from accepting Jesus, through my words and my actions. Amen
